Reverse Engineering

Reverse Engineering explores how things work and how they are made. Participants begin by taking apart store-made products such as air-rockets, toy cars, lamps, pop-up books and more to see how they work. They will then attempt to reconstruct the items again, and using what they have learned, make their own versions using alternate materials.

Our Reverse Engineering offerings include several distinct 45-60 minute programs.  Outlines of these unique science/art programs are presented below.  You may choose any single one of them to offer individually as a stand-alone program, or you may elect to schedule more than one.

Ask about our expanded 6, 9 and 12 session Reverse Engineering programs to create more extensive experiences.

Outreach programs are designed for students in grades 3-12. The cost of one 60 minute program is $160, and $140 for each additional program.

Requests for program information or scheduling should be directed to Juliette Casselman at or at 401-473-9174.
