Vartan Gregorian Science Night!

RIMOSA had a blast with Vartan Gregorian Elementary School students, families, staff, and volunteers at their Science Night 2/11/201!  Visitors explored our Marble Roller Coaster program and built Rube Goldberg inspired marble runs out of foam insulation pipes, dominoes, blocks, found objects, cars, tape, and whatever they could get their hands on.  RIMOSA also had […]

Had fun at Brown’s 250th!

We had SUCH a good time at our “pop-up” at Brown’s 250th on March 8th! People of all ages experimented with our Flight Tube to see what flew, what wouldn’t, and how to alter things to make them fly differently.  They made their own animations on our Zoetrope, and they wrote their hopes and dreams […]

Oops! NOT opening at 171

We had an excellent weekend in early September at the Pawtucket Arts Festival.  Over one hundred people came and enjoyed RIMOSA’s interactive, science/art  exhibits – including the new Naked Piano.  Unfortunately, we have to leave this location in the next month, so we won’t be able to have regular public hours.  We continue to look for (and find) sites for pop-ups […]
