We had an excellent weekend in early September at the Pawtucket Arts Festival. Over one hundred people came and enjoyed RIMOSA’s interactive, science/art exhibits – including the new Naked Piano. Unfortunately, we have to leave this location in the next month, so we won’t be able to have regular public hours. We continue to look for (and find) sites for pop-ups throughout the state – so please check in to see where we will be next!
RIMOSA has been BUSY this Winter and Spring!!
This winter, RIMOSA ran Animation programs at Veterans Memorial School in Central Falls as well as Reverse Engineering at St. Michael's Country Day School.
This Spring, students at St. Michael's Country Day School in Newport are exploring Artists and Inventors as innovation electives. RIMOSA is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of RI to run a series of 7 programs for youth of all ages all around RI. RIMOSA is also running 28 programs for Guiteras youth who will explore Rube Goldberg and Andy Goldsworthy.
